Sheer fabrics offer a very soft finish to a window. The weave is quite open and the yarn very fine. The effect from a sheer fabric is to create dapple light.

With sheer fabrics you can see through them quite clearly. The darker the fabric the more easily it can be seen through. There is little privacy with sheer fabrics and they offer only some solar or heat protection.

Sheer fabrics are used on roller blind, roman blinds, panel glides and curtains.
